GRAPHICS DEVELOPER
Location: Falls Church, VA
Classification: Part-Time
Position Summary: Logapps is currently seeking a Graphic Editor for all projects within Logapps in Falls Church, VA. The Graphics Editor is responsible for: developing the design and layout of the projects’ deliverables and reports; creating infographics; producing design and marketing components; assisting with updating the website; editing photos and images. The candidate shall conduct, review, edit and advise on technical editing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing creative concepts and designs to different deliverables (briefings, reports, etc.)
- Working closely with the team to visually explain complex data findings, including infographics.
- Assisting with the writing and presentation of cohesive and persuasive deliverables
- Assisting with the artistic input and design for marketing materials
- Paying attention to detail
- Reviewing deliverables and reports before submitting to Clients
- Developing graphics and layouts
- Editing and designing briefing
- Creating infographics
- Updating website
- Creating PowerPoint slides for client presentations and other briefings
- Organizing, prioritizing and managing multiple priorities at the same time
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in graphic arts or a related field
- 3-7 years of work experience
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop
- Editing skills
- Writing skills
- Interpersonal skills to relate with staff
- Layout knowledge
- Management skills
- Interest in Information Technology
- Strong business writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- A creative capacity, strong attention to detail and the ability to visualize the final product
- Basic math skills are beneficial
