Spotlight on Logapps Business Systems Analyst Chanel Fauntleroy

As a Business Systems Analyst for Logapps, Chanel Fauntleroy has a keen eye for data-driven market research and strategy roadmaps that help her customers make critical information technology decisions. From new IT systems to legacy builds, her role is to help design project plans that have far-reaching positive impacts.

“Each of our clients has a different set of unique needs for their systems, and I enjoy developing strategic plans, conducting market research, and developing cost models to help them understand different modernized technology options that may work best with their business models,” said Chanel. “My goal is to assist our customers with building defensive project plans, and I provide strategic IT recommendations to make that happen.”

Chanel may focus on long-term information technology roadmaps, but she is always looking for ways to continue her professional training and grow in her career. She currently holds a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 for Development and Services and is a Six Sigma White Belt, and she is pursuing a Professional Business Analyst certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI-PBA). Not only do these certifications benefit her projects and customers, but Chanel is also using this knowledge to lead instructional classes for other Logapps systems analysts.

“The training I have taken along the way allows me to implement best practices with each aspect of a project,” said Chanel. “I have the tools I need to approach each project from a unique perspective, identifying how to get the most beneficial outcome. Today, through the information sharing program I am setting up with my Logapps colleagues, I am also able to share these tools and ideologies to help others as they approach new projects.”
