Logapps Passes the DCAA Audit

Logapps has just passed an audit by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). The audit examined Logapps’ accounting and timekeeping system design and found that it complies, in all material respects, with FAR 53.209-1(f). Joyce Harvey, Director of Administrative Services, was instrumental in ensuring the audit’s success.
About the DCAA
The Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) is an agency under the United States Department of Defense (DoD). The DCAA provides audit and financial advisory services to the DoD and other federal entities responsible for acquisition and contract administration. DCAA operates under the authority, direction, and control of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller)/Chief Financial Officer. As a key member of the government acquisition team, the mission of the agency is “to be dedicated stewards of taxpayer dollars who deliver high quality contract audits and services to ensure that warfighters get what they need at fair and reasonable prices”.
To pass the audit, companies must comply with certain criteria which includes a consistent timekeeping policy with maintained time sheets and corrections. All transactions must be documented, as well as any corrections.
